The chakra system is made up of 7 individual chakras. However, of all the 7 chakras the heart chakra is one of if not THE most important to open properly. Why is the heart chakra so important? Well just like how your physical heart is essential to your ability to live, your heart chakra directly affects the quality of your life.
By learning how to open your heart chakra, you will increase your ability to:

- Do you lack compassion for others?
- Would you consider yourself self-centered and selfish at times?
- Do you find yourself often getting sick and possess a weak immune system?
If you’ve answered yes to any of these questions, chances are you could
benefit greatly from learning how to open your heart chakra.
It is also important to note that even if you tend to naturally have a strong
heart chakra, it is important not to neglect it. You must exercise your heart chakra
regularly to keep it open and healthy. Just like we need to exercise our bodies regularly
in order to maintain our physical health, our heart chakra requires this same type of
maintenance.
How Can We Open Our Heart Chakra?
Meditation and Yoga are two of the traditional forms of opening the heart chakra.
While these methods are definitely effective, they are also difficult to learn and
require proper training in order to see results. Even then this should be considered a long term approach.
For these reasons I don’t often recommend these methods to people who are just beginning to learn how to open their chakras.
Instead, I always recommend people listen to isochronic tones. This is a simple and very effective method of chakra training that anybody can utilize and experience results almost immediately. The best part is it does not require any experience in meditation and there is no physical strain like in Yoga.
