How to Use Your Chakra Energy to Improve Your Health
As you know, our chakras are the powerhouses that store our different energies. They are, in effect, the gatekeepers that ensure the proper flow of energy to and from our bodies. And, when all our chakras are aligned and fully open, they will in turn affect our emotional, physical, and mental well-being.
In harnessing chakra energy, meditation is one of the primary tools. For each of the seven chakras, there are likewise specific mantras or sounds that symbolize them, and the use of which will effectively stimulate and awaken them. Beginners may meditate on and recite each mantra ten times, while advanced practitioners may do so for 50 times.
For the Muladhara or the Root Chakra, the mantra is called Lang (Lam).
For the Swadhisthana, or the Sacral Chakra, the mantra is Vang (Vam).
For the Manipura, or the Solar Plexus Chakra, the mantra is Rang (Ram).
For the Anahata, or the Heart Chakra, the mantra is Hang (Ham)
For the Ajna, or the Third Eye Chakra, the mantra is Ong (Om).
The Sahasrara or the Crown Chakra alone has no mantra, and one must focus one’s entire being on this chakra when invoking it.
